A New Begining
APRIL 2009
The Past is Past and now begins a new era for R230. No longer is R230 a one man project but a full fledged killer Metal band!!! Don't worry this band still has the trade mark R230 sound but 100% improved!!! I am still heavily involved with the writing but will not be singing at all ( other than background vocals)
The New lineup consists of:
Joe Rosado : Guitar (Well DUH!)
Ruben Cruz : Bass ( long time friend and Dark heart of R230)
Chris Vazquez : Guitar (shredder and member of several bands now including R230)
Jose (RUDE) Castro : Drums (Veteran metal drummer now calls R230 home)
Jeff Gonzalez : Lead Vocals (Tired of sitting behind the drums Jeff puts his vocal talent to work as R230 frontman)
We allready have a whole set of new Music and hope to be hitting the stage this summer.
This band is a new band and will be considered as such, so any songs from the old "solo" R230 will more than likely NOT be performed. As Pantera did when they released "Cowboys From Hell", The History Of R230 "The Band" begins now !!! "Classic R230" music will still be available as my pages on Myspace and Soundclick are still up and will still be the main places to go to listen to R230's music ( New and Old ) online. I'll try to focus on more current issues rather than repeating all of the same stuff from the old site. I'll still have a history section so the newbies will know where I come from but I don't feel the need to repeat the same junk I said six months ago on the old site.

THE FORCE OF HATE (Final Solo CD)
After a two year break "The Force of Hate", R230 cd is up for sale. After many delays and many ups and downs(especially downs) in my life I tried to make sure to make good on my promise to complete this disk before the solo version of R230 was no more. This is the final R230 CD with me as asolo artist.
The CD consist of 9 tracks - 7 brand spankin new, 1 "Shades of Black", from the vault and 1 "Till The End Of Eternity" from the United Forces project with Julio Feliciano and Ruben Cruz, which may or may not ever see the light of day, but was too cool to just let sit there. Following in the footsteps of "Nuclear Religion", There are no acoustic guitars no wierd sound effects just raw,pure,basic Metal. The main influences for this CD were the many local bands From the Westchester / Bronx N.Y. Area. I recomend everyone go out and and support thier local metal scene.

MY PERSONAL THOUGHTS ON MAKING "THE FORCE OF HATE"
The first thing to know is, I Have had a crappy past few years. I've been in and out of work several times, diagnosed with an intestinal disorder,suffer from crippling headaches and I have every creditor in town after me. I needed to make this CD. This CD is for me. I thank everyone who has supported me but in the end it was all ABOUT ME! I don't mean to sound like an ass but it's the truth,it's why this CD came to be. Some may think I was under pressure to try to top the last CD which was well recieved but didn't sell what I expected. Others think it's an attempt to try to keep up with the younger more talented bands I've been keeping company with. It's not. They're all cool but, we all know I'm not in their league and I'm not trying to be, I'm just having fun. I didn't even do this for the few fans I have that wanted a new CD from me. These were all reasons in the past. These were the reasons I lost sight of myself. I was always trying to prove myself as a musician or trying to please someone else or trying to convince myself that I was something I was not.
I'm not a musician I'm a metal head! I do it cause I love it and I could care less what anyone thinks. I NEEDED to do this to vent! In my opinion this is the most powerful, angriest CD I have done. Pick it up, if you like it cool, if you don't, cool, I don't care! Just don't say you're gonna show support and pick it up and then don't. I don't need that crap, no one does! I'm tired of all the phony's because I am GENUINE!
